Dr Yabets Taye is a general practitioner specializing in medical evacuations and air ambulance transfers. He has strong experience in medical tourism, accompanying patients on commercial flights and air ambulances to leading healthcare destinations. He also provides remote site medical support, including mining operations and field projects. In addition, he has provided medical coverage for international and domestic events. As Deputy Managing Director of LHS, he coordinates medical travel services and ensures safe and continuous patient care across diverse settings with consistent quality standards high.
Dr. Yonathan Gary
Dr Yonathan Gary Fufa is an Emergency and Critical Care Specialist in Ethiopia with strong experience in emergency medicine, medical evacuations, remote care, and aeromedical transport. He has led over 110 air ambulance missions across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. His expertise includes supporting remote expeditions, corporate projects, and international organizations such as the UN and WFP. As Managing Director of Lighthouse Healthcare Solutions, he leads medical escort services, air ambulance operations and ensures safe and continuous patient care with consistent high standards.

Hospitals abroad don’t speak Amharic, don’t understand the Ethiopian healthcare system, and won’t accompany you on your journey. LHS handles everything — consultation, visa, flights, hospital appointments, translation, and a doctor who travels with you — so you never feel alone or confused.
We primarily work with hospitals in Turkey, Thailand, and India. Each destination is chosen for quality, affordability, and accessibility from Addis Ababa.
