Dr. Yabets Taye is a general practitioner specializing in medical evacuations and air ambulance transfers. He has extensive experience in medical tourism, accompanying patients on commercial flights and air ambulances to top healthcare destinations. He is also experienced in remote site medical support, including mining operations. In addition to his aeromedical and clinical roles, he has provided medical support for various events at both international and domestic levels. As Deputy Managing Director of LHS, he plays a key role in ensuring seamless medical travel and patient care.
Dr. Yonathan Gary

Dr. Yonathan Gary

Dr. Yonathan Gary Fufa is a pioneer Emergency and Critical Care Specialist in Ethiopia with extensive experience in emergency medicine, medical evacuations, remote medical services, and aeromedical transportation. He has led more than 110 critical air ambulance missions across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia as the Lead In-Flight Emergency Specialist at East African Aviation. His expertise extends to providing emergency medical support for remote expeditions, corporate projects, and international organizations like the UN and WFP. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Lighthouse Healthcare Solutions, driving advancements in commercial medical escorts, air ambulance services, event medicine, and medical tourism. He is also dedicated to the advancement of pre-hospital care, the development of disaster response systems, and wilderness medicine, playing a key role in shaping Ethiopia’s emergency medical landscape.
